Every year from October to February, thousands of monarch butterflies gather in the Grove’s eucalyptus trees. This location is kid-friendly and one of the most picturesque places in SLO.

Avila Beach is a small coastal town just off Highway 1 on California’s Central Coast. Fall highs average around 70°, making evenings ideal for photo sessions. The picturesque wooden Avila Pier serves as a beautiful backdrop for family photo sessions.
Los Osos Oaks State Reserve
For a serene, natural setting, this reserve offers ancient oak trees and scenic trails ideal for family photos. Los Osos State Natural Reserve has the most charm in a forest-like area.
Bishops Peak
